CAFFEINATED COMEDY is a premium blend of stand-up comedy and rich flavorful coffee at the Starbucks at the Barnes & Noble Bookstore at Georgia Tech. Your Georgia Tech Faculty hosts Pete Ludovice and Lew Lefton bring you some of the funniest comedians in the Atlanta area along with the occasional newcomer from the local community. As this show evolves we plan on bringing you unique programs of interest to the Georgia Tech community.

SOMETHING WORTH STAYING AWAKE FOR

Shows are Saturday night at 8pm and the very first show is Saturday April 14th. The Starbucks is located adjacent to the Barnes & Noble Bookstore at Georgia Tech on the southeast corner of Fifth and Spring Streets in midtown Atlanta.

YOUR HOSTS

Dr. Lew Lefton is not only a faculty member with the Georgia Tech School of Mathematics, he is the Information Technology director for the school. After realizing the math and computers was not a conversation starter at cocktail parties he turned to comedy. Lew has done both stand-up and improv comedy at clubs and colleges nation-wide. He has produced and hosted long-running comedy shows at both the University of Illinois and at the University of New Orleans, where he was previously a faculty member.

Dr. Pete Ludovice is a faculty member with the School of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering at Georgia Tech. Like Jeff Foxworthy, his comedy career was featured in the Georgia Tech Alumni magazine. The only things keeping him from Jeff's level of stardom are hair and talent. Pete does comedy at clubs and technical meetings world-wide and is the only comedian to be featured in The Chemical Engineer. Join him as he trys to prove that engineers can be funny and not just funny-looking.
