Pete Ludovice used his one free elective at the University of Illinois to become a certified open water diver in 1982. He is an engineering professor at Georgia Tech, where he has been teaching chemical engineers for over 25 years. In addition to his research on the computer simulation of synthetic and biological polymers, he carries out research on the application of humor to technical education, communication and innovation. Pete works nights as a stand-up comedian and has published papers on humor in education and innovation as a result of research funded by the National Science Foundation. Pete brings his SCUBA gear into class to illustrate the thermodynamics of high pressure gases, and now he brings his humor and educational experience to dive training. Since 2018 he has been a dive instructor, and since 2022 he has been a commercial diver for Blue Cord Diving Services. He welcomes the opportunity to help you achieve your diving educational or service goals.
