Think science and tehnology can't be funny?

INSIDE THE BLACK BOX
"Science, only funnier"
Every Wednesday noon to 1pm on WREK Atlanta 91.1FM

The Humor & Innovation Living and Learning Community is dedicated to exploring various types of humor and discovering how these can positively impact technical communication, education and innovation. Admittedly we have a lot of fun with this discovery process. While much as been written a researched on the impact of humor on non-technical fields such as business and marketing little is know about the effect of humor on technical organizations like this geek fest we call Georgia Tech. WARNING: Side effects may include reciting limericks in calculus class, an unconrollable desire to eat rainbow sherbet, and laughing until snot comes out of your nose.

Pete Ludovice, the director of Humor & Innovation is an engineering professor by day and a stand-up comedian by night who is out to prove that engineers can be funny and not-just funny looking. He hosts a weekly radio program entitled Inside the Black Box that uses humor to engage the public on topics in science and technology. Pete speaks regularly to national an international audiences on the role of humor in technical communication, education and innovation. In addition to his research on the molecular simulation of synthetic and biological macromolecules he carries out research on the use of humorous improvisation to improve engineering innovation.
